Marian Kolker - Director

Hi, I am Marian Kolker. I have been teaching/directing preschools since 1974. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in the Administration of Early Childhood Programs. I enjoy working with families with young children. I have lived in Castle Rock for 9 years, having moved from the Santa Cruz, CA area. My introduction to FLP was teaching in the 4/5 year old classes. I left to complete my licensure, returning when the former director left the area. My wonderful husband, Rick, is a pilot for Continental Airlines and together we share our adult children, my 3 daughters, his daughter and son. I am looking forward to another great year here at FLP.
Kristen Rystrom - Administraive Assistant

Hi, I am Kristen Rystrom. I enjoy working with all the different children who come through our program. I have lived in Castle Rock for eight years. I have thee boys who keep my husband and I very busy. They all have attended FLP and have loved it here, so I decided to join the great staff. I am excited about a great year ahead.
Yama Ringman - Teacher

Hi, I am Yama Ringman. I’ve been with FLP since 1996. My husband, Jack, and I have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren. We are truly blessed!
I love children, they are God’s most precious gift to us! I love being part of FLP it’s a gift to me. Please come visit and volunteer while your child is in school. We truly enjoy seeing you and having your help. Thank You for sharing and blessing us with your children at school this year.
Kara Zeigler - Teacher

Hi, I am Kara Zeigler. This is my fifth year teaching at FLP. I have enjoyed teaching preschool and Sunday School for several years. My husband and I are Colorado natives. We have 3 children, ages 8, 5 and 4 Some of my favorite things to do are cooking, camping, riding bikes, and swimming. I am enthusiastic about FLP’s preschool program not only because of it’s strong academics, but also because childhood is celebrated and children are shown the love of God.
Belen Megioli - Teacher

Hi, I am Belen Megioli. My husband, two children and I moved to Parker to 2006. I taught preschool for seven years in Arizona. This is my fourth school year at FLP. I have a degree in Education and my Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
Chris Barstad - Teacher

Hi, I am Chris Barstad. I’m originally from northern Minnesota. My passion has always involved children. At 16, I started teaching Sunday School and knew education was in my future. I received an Elementary Education Degree from Moorhead State University.
My husband and I moved to Colorado 16 years ago. We are busy raising four boys, a Saint Bernard and a Cocker Spaniel. All of my children were lucky to attend FLP! We loved the philosophy, care and education that FLP provided. I look forward to teaching your children!
Nan Davis - Teacher

Hi, I am Nan Davis. I am from Michigan. My husband and I moved to Castle Rock to be closer to our two children and six grandchildren. This is my eighth school year here at FLP. I love working with your little ones!
Debi Stalker - Teacher

Hi, I am Debi Stalker. I am the Gold Class Teacher. I am so excited to be part of the FLP team as my two girls were both fortunate to attend preschool here. My Early Childhood Education experience began in 1987 at Florida State University where I received my BS in Child Development and Family Science. I have taught and directed preschools for 15 years. Now that my girls have entered the public school setting, I am excited to return to the work I love. I look forward to providing an experience rich environment for your children to thrive in. I know we will have a great year.
Denise Cooper - Teacher

Hi, I am Denise Cooper. I am married with two sons. I have been an assistant teacher at FLP for two years. Previously, I worked in the Before/After School Care program through my children’s school. This will be my third year as a lead teacher. I currently teach in the 4/5 classes. I earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education. I look forward to a great year.
Sandy Vega - Teacher Assistant

Hi, I am Sandy Vega. This will be my fifth year as an assistant teacher at FLP. My husband and I have been married for twenty-one years; and together have raised four grown and growing children. I enjoy cooking, gardening, home décor, and children’s ministry which I have been involved in for over sixteen years. I am looking forward to working with and ministering to your children.
