Where did the Summer go??
This year Faith’s Sunday School is going to the FROGS- (Fully Rely On God!). We will be studying Bible characters who “Fully Relied On God:” Noah, Jonah, Daniel, David, Adam and Eve. We will also discover the deeper meanings of some of the seasons in the church year such as Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter. We will Rally the Troops on Sunday Sept 12th to register students, introduce students and teachers to each other, listen to a FROG story (someone who fully relied on God) and then have some great Bible games: FROG potato sack races, a Faith Cake walk, Little David’s sling shot arcade, Bible Character Tin Pan Alley, to name a few.
We need volunteers for Rally Day. We need folks willing to run games that are planned, (approximately for ½ hour) if you can help please contact the church office.
If you would like to help young children learn about God’s love, do we have an opportunity for you! Faith is in need of several hands to make light work of our wonderful rotational Sunday school program. Our design team plans and publishes form fitting Sunday School lessons that need a minimum of preparation but pack a lot of enjoyment and learning for the kids. Generally Staff members are part of a team of teachers for each grade, by sharing the responsibilities they can also share the schedule and have a flexible schedule to have the Sundays off they need. As of August 19th Pastor had 9 of the needed 24 staff members, if you are willing to help fill in the blanks and help fill children with God’s love please by serving on the Sunday School staff please contact the church office.
Preschool–2nd Grade Parents!!!
Please remember to sign-in and sign-out your child each week so that we know that they have been dropped off by you and delivered safely back to you.
5th & 6th Graders:
The Acolyte Schedule is included in the Service Bulletins.
Design Team
The design team is a group of people who works to design the lesson plans for Sunday school. We use many resources to come up with ideas and lessons for the kids. We also gather supplies for the shepherds each week and make sure they have a copy of the lesson plan. We love what we do! If you have any questions about Sunday school or would like to help out, just let one of us know!

We offer Sunday School for PreK-6 graders September through May.
We have a bible presentation for 3rd graders in the fall of the Sunday School year.
4th graders receive Communion instruction and celebrate their 1st Communion in the spring of the Sunday School year.
5th & 6th Graders receive acolyte training and are asked to volunteer as acolytes during worship services.
First Communion
Faith believes all baptized believers in Christ are welcome to the Lords’ table. Communion instruction formally begins with the pastor instructing 4th graders about communion during the Lenten season. However, a child younger than 4th grade may commune if 3 criteria are met:
- The child expresses a sincere interest in receiving the sacrament.
- The parents agree to the child's request.
- The pastor meets with the child (and/or parents) to verify the child's sincere request.
Many children come to our congregation already receiving communion prior to 4th grade. We do not make the child stop taking communion but simply ask that the pastor be informed of the situation.
