NEW MEMBER CLASSES: Beginning April 2012

NEW MEMBER CLASSES:

Designed for folks with no church background or “cradle to grave”  Lutherans this class gives an overview of the basics of Christianity from a Lutheran perspective, as well as a glimpse of what makes Faith Lutheran, Castle Rock unique.  Attending at least four of the six sessions is required in order to become a member of Faith. The five week course will meet Sunday mornings between services starting  Sunday April 15th.

 

  • April 15th- What's so Amazing about Grace? God's plan of salvation
     
  • April 22nd- What's so important about the Bible? Exploring God's Word
     
  • April 29th- What's so special about Baptism and Communion?  Exploring the Church's Sacraments
     
  • May 6th- What does God expect of me?  Living the Christian life
     
  • May 13th- What's so special about Faith Lutheran?  A short history of, and a glimpse toward the future of FLC
     
  • May 20th- Where do I fit into FLC?  Finding a place in the family of Faith.
