Adult Forum returns on Labor Day with a short survey for members to indicate what topics or bible studies they would like to participate in as well as a quick glimpse into the future of what is planned for the first two months.
The first study course is Christianity The First Three Centuries. This is a DVD presentation by best selling author, noted Lutheran scholar, and retired Professor of History at Western Michigan University , Dr. Paul Maier.
This 8 week series tries to answer the question “How could a tiny sect ever conquer the World?” During our time together we will explore the amazing story of how an empire that set out to annihilate a troublesome group of “misguided” Jews would eventually be converted by them! If you’ve ever wondered how it all got started this is the place to be and find out for yourself. While the sessions are connected if your travel schedule only allows you to catch one of two you won’t have any trouble plugging in. So grab a cup of coffee and join us in the Pastor’s office for this inspiring tale of Christians vs Romans.
