A Message From Our Council

Your may have heard that Pastor Mike is going to be on sabbatical this summer.  You are correct!  Plans are being made to give him a well deserved breath to rejuvenate himself and allow him to grow spiritually and professionally.  He will be gone from June 4th through Labor Day.  The first thirty days will be spent walking in the steps of Luther in Germany.  We are still working out the details for the remaining time.  Look for more information in the coming weeks.

Each of us in the Faith Community can help give Pastor Mike peace of mind while he is gone by stepping up to help our church.  How can you help?  There are many ways to contribute:

• Pray for both Pastor Mike and Pastor Ebassa
• Consider financial support for the sabbatical if you are able
• Volunteer to help for Vacation Bible School
• Help in the office to support our staff
• Continue to attend church regularly and keep your pledge current

If you have other ideas or want to talk about how you can contribute, please communicate with one of your council members or Ric Miles.

• How safe is my account information? Because electronic transfers take place through security encrypted transmissions, your account information is even more secure than if you use checks and offering envelopes.
• Can I stop the withdrawals if I need to? Yes, you can stop or change the withdrawals at any time. Change orders take approximately 4-5 business days to process.
• Do I have to be a Thrivent member to participate? No. This program is available to anyone in the congregation.
• Will Thrivent use or sell my contact information for purposes of solicitation? Absolutely not.
