Sarah Circle is a Bible study led by Barbara Weide. It is open to all women of the congregation. We meet on the first and third Wednesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the church library.
Refreshments and great fellowship are an important part of this group. We also support a new mothers ministry and enjoy using our offerings to serve others within our congregation, our community, and beyond. Most recently, our giving has benefited the Faith Lutheran Church emergency fund, the Women’s Crisis Center, the Douglas County Task Force, and Lutheran Disaster Relief for Haiti. Call Barb at 303-688-7987 for more information.

A dedicated wife, mother of two, mother-in-law to two, and happy grandmother to two, Moore lives in Houston, Texas, where she leads Living Proof Ministries. Through this study you'll come to appreciate the supernatural aspects of the fruit and that you cannot grow, learn, or produce the fruit on your own. Beth challenges you to develop the fruit by maintaining an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God.

MEN'S BREAKFAST & BIBLE STUDY
“Christianity and the Competition with Dr. Paul Maier”
The world horizon is littered with competing religions and philosophies. Which has it right? The bold claims of Christianity or other religious rivals... We'll look at sacred sources and secular sources. Many Christians assume that other world religious systems have similar supporting evidence...Lets take a look. This study utilizes the presentations of Dr. Paul Maier (retired Professor of Ancient History at Western Michigan and former Vice President of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod) in comparing and contrasting Christianity with other world religions. Pastor Mike will be facilitating this once a month men’s Bible study which meets the first Saturday of each month. In September we looked at Hinduism and in October we will be looking at Buddhism and the far east Religions.
The coffee is strong, the cooks are good, the breakfasts are great, the company is Christian, and the conversations are spiritually stimulating …need anymore reasons to haul yourself out of bed early on a Saturday morning?!
The Men’s group meets regularly on the first Saturday of the month for breakfast and devotions in the fellowship hall from 7 am to 9 am.
Shirt and shoes required– shave optional!

PIECEMAKERS QUILT GROUP
Piecemakers Quilt Group makes quilts for Lutheran World Relief. LWR distributed 25,545 quilts to earthquake survivors in Haiti in 2010. Due to the earthquakes in New Zealand and Japan, the need for quilts is still great. We have some kits available for anyone that would like to sew at home. We also will take more fabric to be used for quilts.
Thrivent Financial sponsors our Quilt Group.
