Endowment Foundation
Currently the Endowment Foundation has one active mission fund, “Scholarship”, with awards being granted once each year for our seniors going off to college.
2010 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The Faith Endowment Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of college scholarships for the upcoming school year. Congratulations go to ERIN BURNS, SIERRA EVANS, MACKENZIE JOHNSON, LOGAN LENZ AND OLIVIA QUIMBY. Each individual will receive $300 to be used at the college of their choosing. These awards will be handed out at the worship services on Sunday July 11th. Congratulations to each of you and good luck in your studies!
The purpose of the Endowment Foundation is to provide a permanent source of funding for future needs of the congregation’s mission and outreach. Funding for these areas comes from member donations and the investment earnings of the Foundation’s principal, which is intended to remain untouched in perpetuity.
Thankfully, with the down turn in investments, the generous donations of three anonymous donors and the proceeds of our Annual Golf Tournament made it possible provide scholarship awards for seniors with no need to dip into the endowments principle.
