Mike Knauff - Pastor
Mike grew up outside of Buffalo, New York and attended college and seminary in Columbus, Ohio. Ordained into the Lutheran church in 1989 Mike and his wife Debbie have served in Columbus, Oh-Kennesaw, GA- Frewsburg, NY- and Fairfax, VA. In 1997 Mike accepted the call to be Senior Pastor of FLC. He and his family happily settled into comfortable Castle Rock, CO. Mike and Debbie are the proud parents of three boys (Adam, Stephen, and Caleb) who are now college age.
Mike’s passion is helping people along life’s journey find a companion in Christ. He loves the saying, “We don’t know what the future holds, but we know who holds our future.” (Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”) Convinced that God’s plan of forgiveness, hope, and salvation are revealed in Christ’s cross and resurrection, Mike works to help people not only believe this message but also “be-live” it day by day.
Mike’s interests outside of family and church include basketball, Sudokus, singing, martial arts, guitar, hiking, camping, and fly fishing, as well as rooting for the perennial NFL underdogs the Buffalo Bills.

Joel Bejot - Director of Music
Hello, I am Joel Bejot, Director of Music at Faith Lutheran Church. I have been here since July 2008, and am thrilled to be a part of such a loving community of Faith. Prior to taking the position at Faith, I was Director of Music at St. John’s Lutheran in Midland, MI, and St. Andrew’s Episcopal in Buffalo, NY. I received my Bachelor in Parish Music with an emphasis in organ from Concordia University-Nebraska in 2004. In June of 2010, I completed a Master of Music Degree in organ performance at Denver University’s Lamont School of Music.
At Faith, I am responsible for all of the music that happens here, by either directing the groups myself, or overseeing the wonderful volunteers that also can direct groups. I direct the Adult Choir and the Children's Choir. Donna Chase and Lori Lewis directs the Sounds of Faith Band, Amy Kopp directs the Bonus Ludo Strings Ensemble, and Jennifer Havelka directs the Jesus' Garage Band (JGB). I also play the piano and organ for worship services, and occasionally offer a vocal solo. I am intrigued by the potential of Faith and of the Castle Rock community. My vision for the music ministry here is that, through prayer, rehearsal, and a genuine faith shown in performance, we will "Reach, Teach, and Heal" in our community, constantly growing in our faith in Christ, love for neighbor, and musicianship.
In addition to my duties at Faith, I run a private music studio. If you'd like lessons in piano, voice, organ, or drums, please speak with me. I also teach at "My Music Skool" at the Happy Canyon Shopping Center. Please visit my website, musiquedebejot.com. I also occasionally sing with St. Martin's Chamber Choir, and the Evans Chamber Choir. I try to give a few organ recitals a year, including one here. Don't miss the next one!

Dawnee Harbach - Administrative Assistant

Dawnee Harbach - Administrative Assistant
Hi, my name is Dawnee Harbach. I have been a member of Faith for over five years. I joined the staff as an Administrative Assistant in July of 2008. This position was a true calling from God for me and every day I feel blessed to be here. I have two grown children. Stephanie works in the legal field and continues her studies to obtain her law degree. Michael is a chef and races his Mustang GT at Bandimere. My hobbies include spending time with my family, cross-stitching, bowling and playing with my new almost 2 year old Pomeranian, Bam Bam, who I rescued from the shelter four months ago.
