Faith Lutheran School: Preschool & Kindergarten Mission Statement
Faith
Lutheran School is committed
to the joyful education of young children entwined with the love of
God'.
The Faith Lutheran Church community, parents and teachers work together to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment allowing each child to grow and develop to his/her fullest potential. Philosophy and Goals Teachers provide a variety of developmentally appropriate activities, experiences, and materials that are selected to engage children in active, meaningful learning and to achieve the following goals:
Faith Lutheran School's
integrated curriculum
provides a wide variety of hands-on experiences through art, science,
blocks,
music and movement, drama, cooking, outdoor activities and field trips.
The environment, planned with a sense of order and beauty, supports children's desire to learn. A balance of child directed and teacher directed learning activities are included each day. Children use their five senses to experiment, explore and discover. The education of the whole child is a life-long process and an exciting adventure! Parent Participation A Christian Community The Faith Lutheran School curriculum incorporates stories, music, art and customs of a variety of faiths and cultures, cultivating respect and celebrating the diversity of people in our community--and world! Professional Staff Faith Lutheran School accepts students with special needs on a case-by-case basis if all parties agree that the school can adequately meet the needs of the student and his/her family.
